I’m Ren, a self-taught fiber artist.

I started crocheting around 2023, give or take a few months, as a hobby. My mom gave me a crochet kit she saw in a magazine after I mentioned wanting to learn and needing something to do. It came with a little spiral-bound booklet of basic instructions and simple granny square patterns, metal hooks, and some yarn. I thought the only skills I would ever be good at were data and file organization, office, and admin work. Well, it's safe to say I’ve exceeded my expectations. Crocheting has been a healthy avenue for me. It has helped me stay mentally grounded and stay in the loop. Pun intended. Not only have my skills improved, but my overall self-confidence has also increased tremendously. So much so, I want to share my carefully woven creations with you!
